These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Certa Labs UK website and the histology services we provide. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

Certa Labs UK is a professional histology laboratory providing tissue processing, staining, imaging, and analysis services to academic, clinical, and commercial clients.

Certa Labs UK provides histology laboratory services including, but not limited to, tissue processing, H&E staining, immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunofluorescence, digital imaging and analysis, and custom staining panels.

All services are subject to a formal quotation and agreement prior to commencement. We reserve the right to decline any project that falls outside our capabilities or ethical guidelines.

All quotations provided by Certa Labs UK are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices are exclusive of VAT unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Final pricing may be subject to change if the scope of work changes after the initial quotation. Any amendments will be communicated and agreed upon in writing before additional work proceeds.

Clients are responsible for ensuring that all samples submitted to Certa Labs UK are properly labelled, packaged, and accompanied by accurate documentation. Certa Labs UK accepts no liability for samples that are damaged, mislabelled, or incorrectly packaged upon receipt.

By submitting samples, clients confirm they have the necessary permissions and ethical approvals to do so, and that the samples comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Quoted turnaround times are estimates and commence from the date of confirmed sample receipt. While we endeavour to meet all stated timelines, Certa Labs UK cannot be held liable for delays caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to courier delays, equipment failure, or unforeseen technical issues.

Expedited services are available upon request and subject to availability and additional charges.

Certa Labs UK treats all client information, sample data, and project details as strictly confidential. We will not disclose any client information to third parties without prior written consent, except where required by law.

Clients are similarly expected to treat any proprietary protocols, pricing, or methodologies shared by Certa Labs UK as confidential.

All reports, images, data, and analysis produced by Certa Labs UK remain the intellectual property of the client upon full payment of invoices. Certa Labs UK retains the right to use anonymised, non-identifiable data for internal quality assurance and development purposes only.

Certa Labs UK retains ownership of all proprietary protocols, methodologies, and software used in the delivery of services.

Certa Labs UK's liability in connection with any service is limited to the value of the fees paid for that specific service. We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses arising from the use of our services or results.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Invoices are payable within 30 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing. Certa Labs UK reserves the right to charge interest on overdue invoices in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

We reserve the right to withhold delivery of results until payment has been received in full.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Certa Labs UK reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
